For those of you who are tired of looking at all the stains and paint splotches on my cutting table, I thought you would be happy to know I have finally gotten around to putting a clean cover on it.
Remember what it used to look like ...
My table was built for me by Martha McCain's husband, the handiest man I know. It is a 4 ft. x 8 ft. piece of plywood placed on a support frame of 2 x 4s. It then sits on two 3 ft high book shelves that are great for storage.
This also makes it really easy to move.
I need to be able to pin into my table, so it is covered with a dense cardboard material that is 1/8". I don't know the name of it. It is over 20 years old. I then cover that with tag board, which can be used on both sides.
You can see this time I just flipped the tagboard.
I then tape around the edges with white duct tape ... what would we do without duct tape?
Gotta get back to work on that nice clean table!
