It's Memorial Day 2013. I just got back from a bike ride/picnic with my husband and today is the day to launch this blog.
I have a little down time right now and it is my chance to make some summer clothes for myself.
I just made a simple blouse with a really pretty white overall eyelet and have a length of black cotton with a border of eyelet that I want to figure out how to make a skirt out of. I'll try to have some photos of these things in a day or two.
But, in the mean time ... if anyone actually runs across this new site.  Please let me know if there is any thing you want me to talk about or sewing tip I can demonstrate.
CHEERS!

Andrea, welcome to the world of blogging! I'd love to be able to read about your creative process and how you put it to pattern.

Hey Andrea, I love hearing about the creative process and the publishing process and interaction. I have always wondered how these patterns got from you to the Simplicity book. Regularly, when I go to the fabric story I look in the Simplicity pattern book to see what you have made and to brag to my kids, "Look this is my cousin!"
