In "threads" again!!!

Look what came in the mail today!!! Threads with my second article for them inside.

So exciting!

They asked me to write about sewing with fabric made of hemp. I found several places that sell it and then my editor got them to send me samples that I tested and evaluated.

A few samples had enough yardage to make something, so I made this top.

Using this pattern. The front of the envelope doesn't show the pretty back on view B.

And I wisely made it my size!!

HA!

It is really comfortable.

p.s. I'm working on a third article for Threads. NEVER thought I would be a writer.

Looks like it's a very cozy fabric! I'll have to pick some up :) I keep getting distracted by all of the pretty halloween prints out!

Cool, can't wait to read it, hemp fabric intrigues me and am I right in thinking its texture is similar to silk noile? BTW, this issue also has my first published sewing tip in it, which amazingly, came with payment!
