No time to write

I knew this day would come ...

As a new blogger, I made a commitment to myself to post a new blog five days a week for the first year and then see how things go.

Many of my friends and family have wondered if I could keep it up.

Well, today I'm cheating ... I'm telling you why I can't write. OR does that count??

This is what my studio looks like this morning.

Serious chaos.

Simplicity gave me a project that I needed to finish in three weeks.  And then two days ago that got shorted to two weeks and then yesterday morning two more days were shaved off that!!

This is where I sat from about 7:30 am until after 10 pm, except for brief breaks to cut fabric and eat.  Hubby cooked!

I think I'm on track to finish now, but there is a lot of annoying stuff, like checking all the patterns, tracing them out, marking them, listing all the fabrics and notions, taking photos of some of the sewing operations, etc, etc.

I have 2 or 3 more days.

Let's see what I have for you folks tomorrow.

I said it before and I'll say it again; Clean, neat pristine sewing rooms make me suspicious! When I see one I have two thoughts; What are you hiding and do you really use this room or is it just a prop? That said, I'm envious of your studio AND I'm glad you are blogging and sharing all your sewing knowledge as well as some of your life. We can all learn from each other and sharing is fun and rewarding. I hope you will continue to blog for a good while!!
Hugs, The Goose
