Another golden oldie from earlier this year.
I should finish all my Halloween projects today and go back to writing new ones.
But, the outfit above was thrown together completely with found pieces, mostly from my local thrift store.
For me there is a certain thrill of the hunt when walking into a thrift store. You just never know what you will find. My older son is visiting and he told me that likes to buy jigsaw puzzles at his thrift store. He also has found some really fine clothing there.
But, back to the thrill of the hunt. It is a really fun challenge to have a vision of a costume you want to make and then see how it can be done with old clothing and what not.
