It has been very exciting to see I am getting so many visitors in my second week of blogging. I'm doing this, partially, because I work at home an don't have anyone to talk to. And because I really love to sew, been doing it since I was 10 and was given my grandmothers treadle machine. In writing this blog I'm doing what I've always been doing, except now I'm sharing it with everyone.
This is a work in progress, but at this point I plan to publish a blog 5 times a week M-F. I plan to talk about new patterns as they come out, showing how I sewed things and where I did my research. I will be starting, this coming week, a series on dressing for the Renaissance Faire going from modifying thrift store clothes to easy sewn outfits to my serious Tudor patterns. I'm going to start an on going series I will call "Confessions of a Pattern Maker" which will give me a place to explain my choices, tell about mistakes and tell funny stories. And anytime I sew something for myself I will document my progress and problems. Please let me know if there are any topics you would like me to cover. Perhaps help for the community theater costumer?? I've done my share of that. I'd love some feedback. Sincerely, Andrea
